* Had to remove this visual as of Mar 26 because the original source stopped publishing daily incremental state data. We have switched to a new source that now only covers USA daily summary information.

A new tab has been introduced to visualize the progress of US cases and Deaths reported. Interestingly March 19th 2020 has seen a huge spike in case numbers for New York which is an increase of more than 100% reported prior day. Washington State continues to top in deaths related to COVID19 but the alarming increase of cases in New York is an interesting data point to watch over the next few days.
Use the play axis on the visual to see the progression pickup between different states. * PLEASE NOTE, THIS VISUAL IS NOT AVAILABLE ANYMORE AS OF MARCH 26 BECAUSE OF A CHANGE IN THE UNDERLYING DATA SOURCE PUBLISHING THIS DATA SET
As of starting this blog on the 16th of March 2020, the COVID-19 case explosion around world previously known as Corona Virus has resulted in an unprecedented world wide impact to commerce, social interaction, education and everything in between. The lack of detailed analysis options beyond reporting of numbers alone is what prompted me to embark on this journey of preparing a comprehensive dashboard that attempts to paint the full story from the origination in Wuhan China, to its abatement and pick up around the world. I hope this dashboard (intended to be refreshed daily from its sources) will serve to shed the light on the gravity and reality of the situation through a more detailed and informed representation of data. I want to thank all supporters and recommendations that have helped to add more depth and metrics into this dashboard as it stands today. Hope to make this a continued journey until we see the tapering end of this menace that has affected all of our lives! Let the exploration begin!
